The project?s purpose is to further the educational design and dissemination of an online tool to support and facilitate self-and-peer assessment of individual contributions in large group work projects. The online tool supports group work processes through facilitating self-and-peer assessment by providing quantitative and qualitative feedback, evaluation, reflection and review opportunities.
The TeCTra online tool supports the development in students of the ability to self and peer evaluate, give effective feedback, and to reflect and review on their own and their team?s performance. Students practice making professional judgments articulating
well-justified decisions and communicating in a non-confrontational manner to their peers. These are core attributes, understandings and skills for most novice professionals.
